The Bali style outdoor area was so peaceful. It literally felt like we were in Bali. The host was very helpful, even offering a free boat ride up and down the Murray River which was just across the road from the Lodge. Waking up each morning was so peaceful. You could literally "feel the serenity". We fully recommend a getaway stay for two, four or six people at this Lodge.

The Murray River Lodge was perfect in every way, and our hosts John and Jill could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. The room was warm, comfortable and clean, with a view of the Murray River. There is a spacious deck with tables and chairs, all with views of the river. The common area has a fully-equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea, plus a a lovely seating area. We felt at home and hope to return one day.

We were made very welcome and couldn't fault the place. The lovely offer of wine and cheese platter on arrival was a lovely surprise. The place is extremely clean.

The cleanliness of the place and the facilities were very impressive. Both John and Jill were so friendly and took us for a ride along the Murray river in there Pontoon along with a cheese platter and a beverage on arrival. The lodge had a home away from home feel.
